Are you one of many Americans that hate your job? According to recent studies over 50% of all Americans do not like their job and are dissatisfied with the opportunities presented to them. This is a problem that needs to be addressed so I am going tell you what Robert Pagliarini of moneywatch.com recommends.
This may sound obvious but the first thing you can do is find a new job, one that you like. So find out what you are passionate in and what you love to do then look for a job opportunity that offers the challenges you are looking for in a career. This not only can be an emotional gain but also a financial gain as well. Don’t be afraid to shop around for a job and certainly don’t be afraid of change. Once of the biggest prohibiting factors of happiness in the workplace is that employees are scared of change. Why be afraid of change when you hate your job? If you love the work you are doing then you will never ever hat your job.
Another solution to helping you cope with your employment woes is to find something to do that inspires you when you are not at work. Create your own job out site of your current one that inspires you reinvigorates you and re-energizes you so that you are better able to handle the job you have when you are at work. Find a hobby you love and take an 8 hour vacation from your job when you are not at work. Don’t think about work when you are away from it or you will just amplify the reasons why you hate your job even more. By taking 8 hour vacation from your job each day you are re-energizing your batteries so that you can handle the job you keep during the day.
